The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) strives to provide optimal utilization of greenhouse space at a fair and reasonable cost to the user.

The electronic greenhouse space request form was instituted to provide an efficient means of forwarding requests to the appropriate personnel. In addition to requesting new space for short- and long-term projects, greenhouse users must use this form to submit:

1. specific information on plant care needed for the project (such as temperature, lighting, fertilizer, pest management needs, etc.), and
2. any changes in plant care requirements for existing projects.

The data generated through this process is used by CALS administration for planning purposes, including assessing the need for upgrades to existing greenhouses and construction of new greenhouse facilities.

Upon submission, the greenhouse request form will simultaneously be forwarded to the appropriate greenhouse supervisor for the location selected and other members of the greenhouse management team. Once received, the greenhouse supervisor will review the form. The supervisor will then contact the user to discuss the most appropriate space for the project and make the necessary arrangements for occupancy.

All information submitted on this form is encrypted and forwarded through a secure server. For security purposes a password will be required for access.
